My Story
How I’ve built a career helping businesses communicate with clarity and intent.
I began my career in global media, training in broadcast journalism at the University of Westminster, there developing a strong foundation in storytelling, editorial judgement and audience understanding. Early roles in international television shaped how I think about content, not just how it looks or sounds, but how it's perceived to an audience. Working on programmes broadcast to global audiences, I learned the discipline of clarity, accuracy and pace, all of which still underpin my work today.
I later moved into content production and strategy with a production agency, working with global brands including Google. Amazon, Barclays and HP as well as across technology, finance and professional services. It was where I began to connect content marketing more directly to business outcomes while leading projects end-to-end, managing international teams, and building structured content systems and approaches, delivering consistent, high-quality output at scale.
In recent years, I’ve held senior leadership roles in fintech and financial services most notably at Tradeteq and the TFD Initiative, and later as Chief Marketing Officer at Silver Birch Finance. I work closely with CEOs and leadership teams, spearheading marketing, brand and communications for businesses going through periods of growth, change and transformation. I’ve built content and thought leadership platforms from the ground up, supported business development through clearer positioning and messaging, and worked closely with executive teams on visibility, reputation and strategic communications. Across all of this, my focus has remained the same: helping businesses communicate with clarity, consistency and confidence.
Outside of work, I’m a mum of two and split my downtime between boxing and strength training - working towards a 140kg+ deadlift, because apparently I like measurable challenges.

My professional philosophy is anchored in the belief that good marketing and communications start with clarity. If something feels difficult to explain, it’s usually because it hasn’t been fully understood yet.
My role is often to bring structure here, by shaping and simplifying complex messages, and making sure all the fiddly bits connect.

I'm deeply committed to continuous learning and ethical stewardship. As the B2B landscape evolves, my values stay constant as I actively explore how emerging technologies (particularly AI) can be applied in ways that are both effective and ethical.
For me, it’s not just about adopting new tools, but understanding where they add real value, where human judgement matters most, and how to use them to optimise operational workflows, not create noise.

I believe in taking work seriously, but not ourselves. Creating space for balance, perspective and a bit of humour tends to make the day-to-day not only more sustainable, but hopefully far more enjoyable for everyone involved.
